These exams are designed for the International Boards like IB Geneva to introduce foreign languages and cultures through Language Studies. These Exams are also one of the prerequisites to get admission at the Universities of German-speaking countries. It is tailored for secondary education

Exam Overview

Frequency: Students who enroll themselves for the IB program get to know from their respective schools in which month of the year their school will be going for the IB exam.
Format: Consists of a written and oral test.
Components: Knowledge of vocabulary and grammar is reinforced and extended by understanding audience, context, purpose, meaning, and variation.
Duration: Approximately 3-4 hours long.
Results: Declared in a few weeks after the exam is conducted.
